Truck Hunt II (w/pictures of trucks)

Our first trip up the coast was a bust.

This POS needed it's body replaced. All of it. We ran out of time and had to go home empty handed.
This is a bonus shot of about the coolest shop in the world. It's in Cayucos. If you shot out the back fast enough, with a little ramp, you'd end up in the ocean.

The Pomona Swap Meet was Sunday so we checked it out. There was lots of stuff there. 
This one looked pretty cool and it came with the trailer. I guess we could load crap in the bed and pull it behind Bondorella.

"Period Correct" modification. I guess even hobos had money in the '60s.

This one would've been OK if the guy hadn't hired a drunk high school kid to build it.

I went back to San Luis Obispo County again and tried a new Craigslist app.

Craigslist app malfunction or user error. Who cares?

It's not a Stepside or Panel but I couldn't resist. Merry Christmas to me!

Rising Sun hand crafts denim and work wear on antique sewing machines using traditional techniques and the highest quality materials. Mike's passion for quality is only rivaled by his knowledge and skill. Took the R100S out Santiago Canyon to try out the new throttle cables...they work, and had lunch at the Silverado Cafe . This place is pretty good. It reminds me of the cafes found in small towns far away from California. The waitress was real nice, the food was good, and lunch was less than $10 including coffee! Pantera motor spotted at Belmont Shores car show today. Thanks for humoring me. This is a test for the mobile blog thing. It finally worked! Since you're here...this car really had a gold plated drivetrain and lots of trim including custom made bumpers. Believe it or not it looked really cool in a strange way. Here you go Barbary Buzzard. Camp 66 Motor Palace!

The mirror we bought at the swap meet in Tustin fits! We'll hang it up after we paint. We finally got to sleep in the Motor Palace! The apartment's almost done so we decided to give it a try for the 18th Annual "Just Cruzin' Car Show." "Almost done" as in electricity, water, toilet, walls, heating and AC.
