I don't want to jinx anything but...demolition will begin next week. I said it now wish us luck!

Since we're home this weekend we took care of a few chores and goof around Rodder's Row.
Lori torqued Bondorella's heads Saturday morning.
I messed around in the garage and held lights for Lori. I also made flautas and corn tortillas. 

Tomas stopped by to pick up his new Schott 141 in brown. He rides this Lambretta and a nice Bonneville. 

Karmen let Lori drive her the '60 Ford she just picked up. Pretty slick! 


Billie from next door, she's Jewels' roommate.

SHOP NOW VISIT our WEBSITE After my cousin Tim posted a picture of our grandfather in a WWI Navy uniform (I never knew he was in the Navy) I got a little curious about my family. I Googled my grandfather and learned he was born in Missouri. I'm pretty happy about that because I liked riding Route 66 through Missouri last summer and everyone we met there was really nice. My Grandmother was born in Mississippi near Tupelo on the Natchez Trace. Getting more lazy

Lori went camping It was an "all girls" motorcycle campout so I didn't go. Read about it at Motor Dolls in the "News" section. Filthy Sportster with monsoon stains ready for campout. I met her the next morning Clean Fatboy on abandoned section of Route 66 south of Cajon Pass.   Volkswagens Greg's looking for an old VW to use for Orange Seed Co. so we crashed a VW show the day before it started after lunch at Pancho's . I was too full to take many pictures but I couldn't pass these two.  I think the license plate is the name of the builder...should probably Google it but I'll forget the name as soon as I close this page The back seat looked pretty comfortable. Rising Sun, Silverado Cafe, NHRA, and Helmet Question!

Mike Hodis of Rising Sun Jeans hosted a post Inspiration party Sunday with all the trimmings. Rising Sun hand crafts denim and work wear on antique sewing machines using traditional techniques and the highest quality materials. Mike's passion for quality is only rivaled by his knowledge and skill. Took the R100S out Santiago Canyon to try out the new throttle cables...they work, and had lunch at the Silverado Cafe . This place is pretty good. It reminds me of the cafes found in small towns far away from California. The waitress was real nice, the food was good, and lunch was less than $10 including coffee! I'm going to try breakfast next time. Cafe Racer Lunch Counter at Silverado Cafe I was honored to be allowed to drink from Rosemary's pretty cat mug.
